Just For Tonight (His)
With hands tied so tight
I struggled to escape with all my might
Carefully I tried & tried
Until all my strength almost died
Thankfully I was able to do it right
With trembling hands I removed what was blinding my sight
Using the very last of my might
I slowly tried to turn to my backside
The room was wide...
And there she was my life's sunlight,
Sitted in a chair also tightly tied
Looking all pale and paper white
I tried to gather all my might
And closed the distance just to be by her side
With the moon as my only guide
I reached her in no time using only a few strides.
I freed her too, and asked her if she's feeling alright
She slowly nodded & stood, with her hands held by mine
We quietly strode toward the door, which fortunately wasn't locked so tight,
"Finally we're free..." I said as I turned to her O, the action sent shivers through my spine.
But it isn't over yet, for we heard voices from the otherside
We knew immediately that we needed a safer place to hide,
Though in a very unlikely situation, the moment for us is still perfect it felt so divine.
With me holding her close by my side,
Whispering comforting words to her ears & hugging her real tight,
Even if it's only just for tonight.
