"Sa Tamang Panahon"

The Phenomenon called KalyeSerye (a clichè lovestory for some) on Eat Bulaga's Juan For All, All For Juan.

Overview:

Thanks to the Cameraman who was able to capture this moment, Allan K.'s keen eye for genuine emotions and of course dahil sa kanyang side comments at panunukso, kaya nabuo ang AlDub :)

KalyeSerye (coined by Henyo Master Joey De Leon) an accidental live 'TV series' followed by almost everyjuan (including monks?), depicting a split-screen love affair (which started on the 16th of July, 2015) between yayaDUB (short for Divina Ursula Bukbokova Smash- Lola Nidora's yaya  portrayed by Philippines' DubSmash Queen: Maine Mendoza) a talented, pretty maiden, & Alden Richards as himself: a famous, handsome jock. It has a plot always suspended by honks, and a cliff hanger that usually leaves everyone in shock.

Like many people living under the Philippine sky, Eat Bulaga has been part of my daily routine... that's not a lie, and it is without a doubt the addition of AlDub|MaiDen, that has helped it's ratings reach an all time high I guess we Love Eat Bulaga and AlDub and here are the reasons why:

1. It depicts a plot almost everyone can relate to (on Cinderella complex, langit ka-lupa ako peg, LDRs, bigong pagkikita, right love at the wrong time, forbidden love afffair & etc.)

Went gaga all-over as their gazes locked
They started to walk toward each other to meet halfway
Both expecting it may be the perfect time for them to chock

"One step closer, one step closer!" I asked
With hands together clasped

Hoping that their hands would interlock,
Unexpectedly a divider fell, yes, it was a woodblock
Which came in like a wrecking ball and served what it was tasked

2. It consists stellar casts & crew who are very witty, talented, creative & have something new to offer every single day.

It is without a doubt that Maine Mendoza is a naturally kengkay person who has the gift for DubSmash (thus she was hailed as the Queen in that aspect) during YaKie Wedding Part II, she started to show us more of her other side as an actress, At aminin n'yo almost all of us had a heavy heart as we watched her walking on the aisle with tears in her eyes, about to be married to Frankie :'(

Maine Mendoza as Lola Isadora/ MommyDub "Impostora", we never saw this coming because we were busy speculating kung sinong artista ba yung gaganap as Isadora dito rin yung ganap na confused sya ng konti sa character nya, sinundan nya and pinaypayan si Lola Nidora just like what YayaDub always do.

The much anticipated first meeting after 7 weeks, which made us happy, kilig, etc. and brought tears to our eyes once again, as we watched how Alden cried impromptu (Handsome & Gentleman na, eh napakaTalented pa! Ano pa ba ang hahanapin mo? Honestly speaking di ko alam kung gaano kalalim ang hugot ng poging kuyang na ito), & Maine shed tears as well dahil s'ya ay overwhelmed. Talk about Roller Coaster (Ride) of Emotions. ( & That Akala Mo Yun Na, Pero Di Pa Pala Feels, that only Eat Bulaga Can Give)

At siyempre pa, the amazing people behind the scene, who are so good at doing what they're doing & thus making us happy. Creative team, writers, FD, directors, cameramen, lahat ng crew. Salamat po! (screen cap from IG: patchypie)

3. It epitomizes 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, & reminds us of the true meaning of love.

Perfect Love happens at the right time. Can't hurry love baby, you have to wait patiently on GOD's perfect timing :)Bihira ka lang makatagpo ng palabas na maganda ang pinopromote at this day and age.

4. It gives us reason to believe in love (particularly in forever) all over again.

That pigil smile! Kung naniniwala ka sa forever, edi ako rin :D

Those sparkles in their eyes kahit spilt-screen lang :) As fans we are also able to watch their eyes (na may admiration at affection) and their faces glow & notice that she become prettier (Maine) & he is more handsome (as for Alden) habang patagal ng patagal yung KalyeSerye.

Standee pa lang ganyan na kung makayakap, pano pa kaya pag sa personal na? :D <3

Aminin mo na, AlDub ang may pinakanakakakilig na literal na on-screen kiss

Most of us (yes, with myself included) could not help but wish na mauwi ang lahat sa totohanan para maging MaiDen na ang AlDub. but just like what I'm always saying sa tweets ko: "Let's not force things to happen, wait together patiently for tamang panahon, support our idols, & just enjoy the show".

5. It has the perfect mixture of Serendipity (which I believe by Divine Intervention & man-made circumstances), Reality (due to it's nature, plus unexpected instances like rambutan appearance, tanggal wig, raw emotions and etc.) Spontaneity, Simplicity & Hilarity.

Though the plot is already written, the emotions they show are almost always, raw & real :) parang Nesfruta "Real na Real"
Which made Henyo Master JDL coin the term: KALYESERYOSOHAN

At siyempre ang nakakadala at nakakahawang viral laughs nila Paolo at AK.
Tipong pag nag-umpisa na silang manukso at tumawa, matatagalan bago ka maka-move on.

6. And lastly, if you have a brief background on Bandura's Social Learning Theory, you would remember that People model/reenact the behaviors vicariously (particularly on split-screen as in the case of AlDub)... Which I think works positively for KalyeSerye as it able to promote GOOD FILIPINO VALUES & teaches MORAL LESSONS that inspires everyone most especially the youth.

Through Lola Nidora's words of wisdom, EB Creative Team & Writers are able to send messages that promote Filipino Values, which have been forgotten by many of us for some time.

Yaya Dub cheering for Alden, na tumakbo mula Broadway Centrum hanggang Edsa, para sa unang hamon ni lola Nidora. Kasunod nito yung Pili, Laing at Bicol Express Challenge at siyempre pa yung paglangoy sa swimming pool, wearing formal attire (yung eksenang nagpakita ang scapular). TALK ABOUT CHIVALRY. Lalo lang tuloy tumaas ang standards ng mga girls pagdating sa manliligaw, ika nga ng nanay ko eh "Humanap ka ng lalaking handang gawin ang lahat sa abot ng kanyang makakaya, para lang mapatunayan yung pagmamahal n'ya sa'yo." Probably one of the most powerful statements of Lola Nidora, which gained praises from Catholic Media Organizations, as it upholds Filipino Marriage Moral Standards.

Another message that promotes the purity of love & the importance of doing things right, & taking it slow. Edi Wow!

My dear friends, once again, Eat Bulaga Family has proven that they are where and what they are now, because they used their social responsibility well by producing segments which leave marks in our hearts, & exerting an effort by doing what they can as part of the society towards building the nation.
